“My experience in Bolivia was incredible! I saw so many beautiful places, like Salar de Uyuni, Lago Titicaca, and Mount Tunari. I went on some really challenging and fun hikes filled with beautiful scenery and tour guides that educated my group on the places we traveled not to mention eating some delicious traditional foods! Also, I got to meet new people and make lasting connections. It was a fantastic experience filled with so much growth and learning, and I hope to visit there again someday! Thanks, Connect2Bolivia!”

“The cultural course taught by David Senior provided students the opportunity to learn about Bolivia from a local’s perspective. His experiences and expertise allowed us to gain a deeper understanding of Bolivia’s history, languages, culture, and infrastructure. Questions and dialogue about the content were welcomed and matched with thought-provoking discussion. But most importantly, students had the opportunity to try delicious local and traditional cuisine during the experience. Overall, the course was undeniably a vital part of studying abroad in Bolivia.”

“I worked with Connect2Bolivia to create educational field trips and experiences for the University of Pittsburgh students who were enrolled in a course on Infectious Diseases of Bolivia. Connect2Bolivia made all aspects of planning and execution easy and effortless; I was even offered suggestions of places to take the students! Alexis is friendly, caring, and courteous. She and her organization know how to create a truly memorable experience for the students. I highly recommend utilizing Connect2Bolivia. You won’t regret it! ”

“My time in Bolivia is easily one of my favorite memories from all of college. From the everyday life in Cochabamba to the salt flats of Salar de Uyuni, there was always a new adventure around the corner. It was incredibly fun to immerse myself into a culture that is entirely different than my own. I would go back in an instant if I could!”

“C2B enabled our university’s service learning course to effectively network with and work alongside community members throughout Cochabamba. Staff are incredibly knowledgeable and personable, as well as sensitive to cross-cultural dynamics. I’m eager to work with them again, knowing that they’ll help my students grow academically and linguistically and as global citizens.”

“My time in Bolivia was short, but wonderful. My host family was amazing and made me feel at home and apart of their family. I was able to see all the popular landmarks of the city, experience the culture, and live in one of the most beautiful cities on Bolivia, Cochabamba.”

“My Connect2Bolivia experience was one that was unforgettable! From climbing mountains to visiting the largest salt flat in the world, I was able to see life from a different perspective. As an undergraduate student at the University of Pittsburgh, Connect2Bolivia taught me the importance of providing care and attention to underserved communities through service-learning projects. Bolivia gave so much to me and through Connect2Bolivia I was able to give back.”

Connect2Bolivia, in partnership with the University of Pittsburgh, curated an extraordinary study abroad experience for my fellow students and me. Traveling to a foreign country as a young college student can be daunting and Alexis and her team went above and beyond to make sure we had an incredible experience. More specifically, as someone planning to pursue a career in public health, Connect2Bolivia provided excursions around the country, such as to the Chapare Rainforest, that gave me new and important perspectives on global health issues and inspired me to continue my professional path. I would recommend Connect2Bolivia to anyone and everyone!
