Program Development

We will work with you to help create the program of your choice!

Throughout the years, we have designed programs with universities for study abroad and global citizen programs that have focused on several areas including American Sign Language (ASL), Archeology & Anthropology, Intercultural Communication, Education & Student Teaching, Environmental Sustainability, Internships, Service-Learning, Sociology, Political Science, Spanish & Indigenous Languages, and Medicine & Public Health

Independents & Group Travelers

Connect2Bolivia will help you create a custom-made trip to meet your learning objectives and to facilitate your international goals. If you have always wanted to travel to a more daring country and haven’t known how to go about it, let us guide you on your travel quest. We have several different packaged programs as well depending on your interests.

For example, our Gap Year and Independent Travelers program features Spanish Language development and volunteering at local community centers. With each program, we offer a variety of local and national excursions with guides. We will help you find housing, transportation, Bolivian professors, translators, tours with locals, medical travel assistance, language courses and more! Enjoy a diverse experience from visiting dinosaur tracks, hiking in the highlands to the jungle, South American soccer games, visiting ancient indigenous monuments, and delicious Bolivian dishes.

Service-Learning

Connect2Bolivia has established relationships with local centers and communities in the Cochabamba area for Service-Learning. Our goal is to design our Service-Learning projects with the center or community to meet needs identified by the community. We respect the core principals of Service-Learning!

We have established relationships with several centers including but not limited to a nutrition center for malnourished newborns to toddlers, female and male orphanages, rehabilitation centers, public and private hospital programs and an afterschool tutoring center for grade schools.

Let Connect2Bolivia help guide you on your Bolivian journey! As well as the Bolivian Culture, the Bolivian topography varies from location to location. It is very exciting to travel throughout this geographically diverse country. We included several cultural activities within the Cochabamba area as well as several excursions around Bolivia. Enjoy the largest salt flats in the world, Salar de Uyuni! Visit the largest and highest natural lake in the world, Lago Titicaca! Take a trip to the Amazon and play with spider monkeys!

Student Teaching - Connect 2 Bolivia

Student Teaching

Connect2Bolivia has established relationships with local Bolivian Schools in the Cochabamba area. Schools are all United States accredited (AdvancEd, NACAC, CollegeBoardSAT) and Bolivian accredited as well as are accredited International Baccalaureate (IB) or are in the process of official IB approval. Student Teachers accepted into the program are able to teach from Early Childhood to Secondary Schools. All schools are taught in English with the secondary language being Spanish. Therefore, student teachers may or may not have prior Spanish knowledge.

If you are interested in studying abroad at a Secondary High School Level in the United States or in Bolivia, please let us help guide you on your educational journey abroad.

In the United States, one of our options are Forest Hills School District in Sidman, Pennsylvania.

Students must be at least 16 years old to study abroad at Forest Hills High School. If you are looking for a semester to a year, don’t wait to contact us!

In Bolivia, we have established relationships with local international Bolivian Schools. The schools are all United States accredited (AdvancEd,  NACAC, CollegeBoardSAT) and  Bolivian accredited as well as are accredited International Baccalaureate (IB) or are in the process of official IB approval. The schools are bilingual, making it an interesting place to improve your English and Spanish or learn a new language. If you are a secondary education student looking to study abroad in Bolivia for a semester to a year, please contact us!

Language Programs

We have a Language Program option that focuses on developing fluency in the Spanish Language. Students will be placed with local Bolivian professors, who have years of experience teaching all beginner to advanced language learners. We offer group classes as well as private one-on-one class options. What better way to learn Spanish than with a native speaker

Perhaps you are looking for a less spoken language? If that is the case, we have language options to study Quechua with local Bolivian professors as well as Spanish.
